I love to promote reading real, honest-to-goodness BOOKS! Reading a book as part of your night-time ritual can actually improve your sleep quality. It actually signals to your body that it’s time to wind down and go to sleep. Reading a real book can reduce stress and physically relax you by reducing heart rate and soothing tension in your muscles. Books are, generally, created to last and stories can and should be read over and over again. When it comes to actually remembering what you’re reading, you are better off going with a book instead of an e-book. The feel of paper pages under your fingertips provides your brain with some context, which can lead to a deeper understanding and better comprehension of the subject you’re reading about. And most importantly, READING is CONTAGIOUS!
