Hello, Justiss Elementary families! Thank you for accessing my Smore Newsletter! My name is Andrea Irwin and I am beginning my 28th year in education, with 23 of those years serving as an elementary school counsleor, and beginning my 6th year here at Justiss elementary. I grew up not too far from Paris, in Idabel, Oklahoma and got my undergraduate and graduate degrees from East Central University in Ada, Ok. However, I have served 23 of my years in the great state of Texas. I want to assure you that my top priority is the upmost welfare for your child's social, emotional, and academic health. I serve all children at Justiss and am a firm believer of teaching prevention and life skills to be able to navigate the world we live in today and the world that our students will face in the future. I am here for your child as they face changes or sometimes sadly, crisis in their lives. I am also available to parents for advice, guidance, and information to resources in our area. Please know I am here for your child and am grateful for the privilege to serve the wonderful students, parents, and staff at Justiss Elementary.
