Justiss Elementary School

This level is for Kindergarten.  Accumulate 5 points on books that were read to, read with, or read independently.  The will complete 5 levels of Ready, which will be a total of 25 points.

• Students accumulate 10 points:  read to, read with, or read independently.
• Then they must independently read and test on three books written at a 1.2 level or higher.
• The student will be certified as an Independent Reader when their teacher approves completion.

Students will read independently 3 books at 1.6 reading level or higher and accumulate 10 points.  They will complete 5 levels of Rising, which will be a total of 50 points.

Students will read independently 3 books at 2.1 reading level or higher.  Each book must be worth one point or more.  They will complete 10 levels of Super.

Students will read independently 3 books at 3.1 reading level or higher.  Each   book must be worth 2 points or more.  They will complete 10 levels of Advanced.

Students will read independently 3 books at 4.1 reading level or higher.  Each book must be worth 4 points or more.  They will complete 10 levels of Star.

Students will read independently 3 books at 6.1 reading level or higher.  Each book  must be worth 7 points or more.  They will complete 10 levels of Classic.

• Students must achieve an 80% score for quiz results to count.
