Justiss Elementary School

Justiss has one counselor on campus, Mrs. Andrea Irwin works with the students on  self-esteem, bullying, feelings, friends, conflict and more.  Mrs. Irwin also offeres individual counseling for students in need of that service. 

All students at Justiss take part in Accelerated Reader.  Accelerated Reader is a program that allows students to read books from the library and upon completion of the books, they take basic comprehension tests on the computer. 

Ms. Yates heads up the SOI program on the Justiss campus.  The program focuses on how students think and learn.  Students develop a number of critical thinking abilities such as attention, rule-following, memory, cause/effect reasoning and more.
