Welcome to Justiss!  I will be on duty as your child’s nurse this school year.  During this time, your child will be sent to me in case of illness or accident.  It is my desire to provide a safe and healthy environment for your child so he or she can stay in class and learn.  With your cooperation, I will be able to meet this goal.

For the protection of all students and staff, the following rules have been set up and will be followed at all times.  A child will be sent home with:

1.  Fever

2.  Suspected contagious disease

3.  Vomiting two or more times

4.  Diarrhea

5.  Severe or continuous complaints of pain

If your child has any of the above symptoms in the morning before coming to school, please keep him or her at home.  If they have been sent home ill, they should be free from illness for 24 hours before returning them to school.  Please make sure that your child has been fever free, without the use of fever reducing medications, before returning to school. 

Please feel free to call or visit my office at any time (903-737-7458) and discuss any or all health care needs concerning your child. The better informed I am, the better care I can give to your child.
