The Nurse’s of Paris ISD welcome you back to the 2020-2021 school year! For questions or concerns regarding a chronic health condition that may be affecting your child, or if your child will be taking daily medication during the school day we ask that you please contact the nurse on your child’s campus without delay. Arrangements to drop off medication prior to the first day of school is allowed and highly recommended.
Does your child use nebulizer asthma medications? If so, you will need to contact your child’s doctor for treatment alternatives as it is recommended that nebulized medications should only be used at home, not at school. Please remember to request and provide the school with a current asthma action plan as a new one is required each year. Asthma treatment that is appropriate for administration during the school day includes a metered dose inhaler along with the use of a spacer.
Please feel free to call our offices at any time to discuss any and all health care needs for your child. The better informed we are, the better care we are able to give to your child.
