Math Interventionist
I attended high school at Midlothian High and graduated in 1988. I attended Paris Junior College and obtained my Associates of Science in 2003. In 2005 I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
I currently hold a certification in EC-4 generalist, 4-8 generalist, EC-4 ESL.
I’m excited to begin my 19th year of teaching. This will be my 5th year with Paris ISD at Justiss Elementary. I will be teaching 3rd grade math in the morning from 7:30 – 11:10 and then working with students in 1st grade through 4th grade in the afternoon from 11:15 – 2:50.
I began my teaching career in 2005 at Chisum Elementary. There I taughter 7 years in 3rd grade Math and 7 years in Music/Art to Kinder through 5th grade. I was the GT instructor for Kinder-5th grade for 6 years.
I have been married to Tom Brandenburgh for 29 years. We have 4 wonderful children, 3 boys and 1 daughter. Our boys all three graduated from Chisum ISD. Our oldest son, Staton (34) is currently an electrical engineering. Landon (28) is an airframes mechanic, our youngest son, Mason (26) is currently self employed and our daughter, Isabella (12) is the princess of the bunch attends Trinity Christian Academy and is in the 7th grade. Tom, Staton, Landon and Mason are all veterans of the United States Armed Forces (Marine Corps & Army). We have 1 cat, Zero and 1 dog, Dasher. We were blessed with 3 grandsons, Merritt, Noah and Zade and our newest addition, our granddaughter, Lillian. We enjoy family time together where we catch up with what everyone is doing, play games and enjoy good food.
I enjoy crafting, reading, sewing, camping and spending time with friends and family.
