This will be my tenth year at Justiss! I taught Math, Science, and Social Studies at Justiss for five years and this is my fifth year as Justiss’ Technology Campus Coordinator. I love technology and espeically love teaching it to my students!
Six years ago, I was honored by being named Justiss Elementary Teacher of the Year, Paris ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Region 8 Teacher of the Year. Every job I've had since I was sixteen years old has involved working with children. I have ALWAYS known that this is what I am meant to do!
I attended Paris ISD from K-12th Grade and am a true Wildcat! I graduated from Paris High in 2007 before attending the University of North Texas in Denton. I graduated in May of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6, graduated August 2016 with my Master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Texas A&M-Commerce, and am certified as a Principal and in ESL and SPED.
I married my high school sweetheart, Matt, in August 2010 and could not be happier! I have two precious boys, Gavin and Jackson and two cats, Mac and Mia. My hobbies include technology, drawing, painting, reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing board games, and spending time with my amazing family. I am looking forward to getting the year started! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Go Wildcats!
