My Teaching History

I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce and recieved my teaching certificate in December of 1997. This will be my 24th year of teaching and my 17th year at Justiss. I have taught Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th grades. This will be my 11th year to teach Kindergarten. I am expecting another exciting year. I enjoy watching the learning as it takes place through the year. I will strive to help your child reach their full potential. I have high expectations of my students. I expect them to put forth their best effort each day as will I. I expect them to be responsible, cooperative, and productive. This will be a year full of exploration, learning, and friendships for your child.  If we work together we can make this a terrific year. My Family

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 27 years. We have three darling daughters, a son in law, and two handsome Grandsons. I love being Mamaw! Our middle daughter is planning a wedding in April and our youngest daughter is starting college this year! They sure grow up fast!
